It is not yet a perfume. But perhaps you can already imagine, almost smell, the materials being explored, the accords being tested, the samples arriving… even the scent of paper as a pencil moves across the page, following the flow of ideas and inspiration.

What does it mean for a perfume to breathe? Across four episodes, a journey through sensations, references and raw materials – exploring one of the central ideas behind Oxymore: creating space within scent.
Nineteen samples, and nineteen different interpretations. Some immediately familiar, others unexpected. The first step is simply to smell, without deciding too quickly.
Some samples follow the brief. Others take us somewhere entirely different. Between the two, there are ideas worth keeping, details worth questioning, and a few clear goodbyes.
